weekend of Bible teaching, fresh mountain
air, good food, fun, friends, as well as the
chance to meet someone new.

are we going? The WEC Centre is a
quality, modern accommodation and catering
venue, with easy level access and ensuited
cabins set on Mt Tamborine in peaceful
surroundings. We would love to see you
there!

Who is Dr Bruce
Winter? Bruce is Principal of Queensland Theological
College and previously was principal of
Tyndale House in Cambridge. He will be
presenting 5 great talks from Friday night
to Sunday lunch time on “Seek the Welfare of
the City”.
What is the Purpose? Along with great Bible teaching and
learning to apply it together as a church,
we can get to know each other better while
enjoying some of God’s beautiful creation on
tranquil Mt Tamborine with time for coffee,
exploring or just relaxing.
What if I
can’t come for the whole weekend? For
those who regrettably can’t make the whole
weekend, a day rate is available which
includes lunch, morning and afternoon teas.
Can I get help or help out with
transport? Please
indicate this on your registration form.
What if I can’t afford it? Please talk
with us if you would like to come but are
having difficulties managing the costs.
What do I need to bring?
• All bedding
including pillows (make sure you rug up as
it can get cold at night)
• Warm
clothes • Suitable footwear
•
Toiletries, towel
• Bible, notepad and
pen • Torch
• Games that you like to
play (eg board games, balls)
• Wet
weather gear
• Toys for your children
• Any baby or special toddler food/drink
required • Portable cots/highchairs as
required • And most importantly a warm,
cheerful disposition!
What can’t I bring?
• Food—unless you have special dietary
requirements or are providing special
food for a child. The WEC Centre are unable
to allow the consumption of food brought
onto their premises from external sources
• Alcohol—WEC Centre is an alcohol, smoke
and drug free environment
What are the
rooms like?
• The rooms are ensuited,
complete with shower and toilet.
• Most
rooms comprise 3 bunks, totalling 6 beds per
room • The rooms are lockable
• If you
would like to share a room with someone
specific, please note your preference on
the registration form. Every effort will be
made to accommodate your request, but cannot
be guaranteed
When can we Escape? Arrival and registration from 18:30 Friday
night for a 20:00 start Departure is after
lunch on Sunday
*Note: supper, but
not dinner, is provided on Friday night Any
