In addition to our times of corporate fellowship and worship, we are also committed to reaching out to others with the message of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, whether they be the residents of inner city Brisbane, tourists passing through our city, or people in other countries around the world.

This group caters for young people from high-school age through to young adults.  They share in a great range of fun social activities, plus enjoy a weekly time of prayer and study of the Bible on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm in the “Living Room”.

With a growing number of young adults in our church, we are seeking to establish a greater sense of cohesion amongst this age group, with a shared desire to grow in their relationships with one another, to grow in their knowledge and love of Christ and to grow in their willingness and ability to serve others.

As young marrieds come into our church and young families are established, we seek to help them discover not only a good circle of friendship and support within the church, but also to establish Godly priorities for their family life, work and service for others.

A significant ministry of the Tabernacle is in the area of music.

The grand pipe organ which is played by our organist, Len Ryan, provides the lead to our congregational singing in Sunday morning services.

Our choir, which participates in the morning services is led by Fiona Gough. This provides a wonderful opportunity of ministry for those who are gifted in singing. At Christmas and Easter each year, the choir also presents specially focused musical events which exalt the Name of Christ and inspire the hearts of many.

Our musical team also consists of a number of talented musicians whose collective contribution is greatly appreciated, especially in our evening services.

We believe that Small Groups are a great way for people to develop close relationships with others in the fellowship and to grow in their knowledge of the Scriptures and their personal relationship with Christ.
