Jenny Austin

I joined Wycliffe in 1984, serving in Papua
New Guinea as a linguistic worker and in
various support roles including Pacific
Orientation Course staff worker, tutor to
national translators, Technical Studies
Department staff, and writer in SIL PNGs
media department. I then worked in the media
department of our national centre in
Melbourne as a writer for two years. When I
moved to Brisbane, I joined the Tabernacle
on 3rd January 1993, and served in the choir
and on the missionary committee. I was
commissioned by the Tabernacle on 27th
November 1994 to work with the regional team
in the Brisbane Wycliffe office. I was there
for nearly 10 years before moving back to
the national centre in 2003 to take up my
current role as Assignments Coordinator.
